Welcome to your Southern Travels Japan Odyssey tour. On arrival in Japan, you will be welcomed by your Southern Travels representative and transferred to your hotel on a shared coach basis. After check-in, spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Explore the nearby streets, enjoy your first taste of Japanese cuisine, or simply relax after your journey.

After breakfast, proceed to the meeting point and embark on a full-day panoramic tour of Tokyo. Begin with a visit to the serene Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji. Continue to the historic grounds of the Imperial Palace and enjoy a stroll around the beautiful plaza.
Explore the vibrant atmosphere of Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple, and browse through the traditional shops of Nakamise Street. Drive past the famous Ginza district before enjoying a Western-style lunch.
In the afternoon, pass by Odaiba and Toyosu Market, visit the picturesque Hamarikyu Gardens, and conclude the tour with breathtaking views from the main observatory of Tokyo Tower.

Today, experience Japan’s most iconic landmark, Mount Fuji. Travel through scenic countryside landscapes to the 5th Station, situated halfway up the mountain, where you can admire spectacular views and take memorable photographs.
After lunch, continue to the beautiful Hakone region. Enjoy a relaxing cruise across the tranquil waters of Lake Ashi, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. Later, ride the Mount Komagatake Ropeway to enjoy panoramic views of the region before returning to Tokyo.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Tokyo Station. Experience the excitement of traveling aboard Japan’s world-renowned Tokaido Shinkansen, known for its speed, comfort, and punctuality.
Arrive in Kyoto, Japan’s ancient capital, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city at your own pace. Wander through charming streets, visit local markets, or sample Kyoto’s famous cuisine.

Check out after breakfast and proceed for a full-day Osaka sightseeing tour. Travel by train to Osaka and visit the Floating Garden Observatory at the iconic Umeda Sky Building, offering panoramic views of the city skyline.
Enjoy lunch before boarding the Aqua Liner Cruise for a unique perspective of Osaka from the waterways. Later, visit the historic Osaka Castle and its surrounding park, one of Japan’s most significant landmarks.
