Arrival at Udaipur Airport/ Railway Station. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Later visit City of Lakes - visit Jag Mandir on Lake Pichola (Boat ride at your own) and the famous Jagdish Temple, which enshrines a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath-Lord of the universe, Overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit Sajjangarh , City Palace , Crystal Museum, and Saheliyon ki bari - "Gardens of the Maidens". Overnight stay.
Post breakfast, drive to Kumbhalgarh Fort. Visit the famous Haldi Ghati – famous for the epic battle, famous Kumbhalgarh Fort – one of the most beautiful forts in Rajasthan and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The walls of the fort extend over 38 km and is the second longest wall after Great Wall of China. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Airport / Railway station for your return journey.
Udaipur, also known as the City of Lakes, is located 403 kilometres southwest of the state capital, Jaipur. Udaipur is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency as Guhils clan ruled the Mewar. The city was founded by Maharana Uday Singh. Apart from its history, culture, and scenic locations, Udaipur is known for its palaces. The Lake Palace covers an entire island in the Pichola Lake and many of the palaces have been converted into luxury hotels.
Kumbhalgarh Fort is a magnificent fortress located in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. This stunning Mewar Fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills is about 48 km from Udaipur.
Kumbhalgarh, a Mewar fortress in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan state was built during the course of the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, and enlarged through the 19th century. Kumbhalgarh is also a birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great warrior of Mewar. Occupied until the late 19th century, the fort is now open for public as a museum and is spectacularly lit for a few minutes each evening. Kumbalgarh is positioned 82 km from Udaipur towards its northwest and is easily accessible by road. The fort is the most important fort in Mewar after Chittaurgarh.
Chittorgarh, is a city that lies on the banks of the Berach River, a tributary of the Banas, and was the administrative headquarters of the former capital of the Sisodia clans of Rajputs of Mewar. Ruled by valiant clans, the fort of Chittor was under siege thrice and each time the clans fought bravely. In the same city, Jauhar was committed thrice, by ladies and children, first led by Rani Padmini, and later by Rani Karnavati. The famous warriors Gora and Badal, in the war against Allaudin Khilji, have become legendary in Rajasthan history. The sacrifice of Jaimal and Patta in the war against the Mughals (1568 AD) was so immense that the Mughal Emperor Akbar installed their statues in his fort, in Agra.
