On Arrival in Chandigarh we will meet you and transfer by to Shimla (343 kms / 5 hrs).Shimla is capital of himachal former capital of Britishers also set amidst, the snow copper, shaivalik,mountains which offer some of the most beautifull view of himalaya Reach there and Visit Mall road .check in hotel Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
After Breakfast visit Mall Road. Afternoon half day city tour visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu Temple, and Visit KUFRI a beautiful snow hill station. Back to hotel have dinner and overnight stay.
Check out from the hotel and drive to Kullu valley, en-route visit Kullu market, Kullu Shawl factories, and Vaishno Mata Temple. Check in at the hotel in Manali. Overnight at the Hotel.
After breakfast in Manali, get behind the wheel on a 30-min drive to Solang Valley which is popular for adventure thrills. Take pony rides with your kids, enjoy views of the alpine valley from the Ropeway, and enjoy skiing in the winter season. Families can plan their day in Solang Valley as per their interest. A visit to Rohtang Pass is subjected to the weather and road conditions. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and comfortable overnight stay.
On arrival at check-in to your hotel/resort in Manali; after freshen-up proceed for sightseeing in Manali. Places to visit/see in Manali: Visit the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi (which has some exceptional woodcarvings which includes carefully carved wooden doors and a 24 meters tall wooden tower). Also visit the Vashisht Kund, Manu Temple and Jagat Sukh Tibetan Monastery. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive Manali to Chandigarh. Your Manali package from Chandigarh concludes with a drop to the airport/railway station for your onward journey home. Tour Concludes.
Shimla is bounded by Mandi and Kullu in the north, Kinnaur in the east, and Solan & Sirmaur to the south. Manali in the Beas River Valley is a beautiful hill station nestled in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley. It is located about 270 km north of the state capital, Shimla with a population of approx. 30,000. The small town is the beginning of an ancient trade route to Ladakh and from there over the Karakoram Pass on to Yarkand. Manali and the surrounding area are of great significance to Indian culture and heritage as it is said to be the home of the Seven Sages. Tourism is the most significant segment of the town's economy as tourist attractions of this hill station includes Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries and adventure sports.
Rohtang Pass, pile of corpses, due to people dying in bad weather trying to cross the pass is a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km (32 mi) from Manali. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh. The pass provides a natural divide between the Kullu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture and the Lahaul - Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture that exist in the north. The pass lies on the watershed between the Chenab and Beas basins and on the southern side of this pass, the Beas River emerges from underground and flows southward. The Chandra River, a source stream of the river Chenab, flows westward.
Chandigarh serves as the capital to two states, Haryana and Punjab. The name Chandigarh translates as "The Fort of Chandi", which is derived from an ancient temple called Chandi Mandir, devoted to the Hindu goddess Chandi.
