AHMEDABD-RAJKOT

Arrive Ahmadabad Airport. Our representative will meet & greets you later Departure to Rajkot en route visit Lothal (260 Kms / 5 Hrs.) - Lothal literally "mound of the dead", is the most extensively excavated site of Harappan site in India and therefore allows the most insight into the story of the Indus Valley civilization, its exuberant flight, and it’s tragic decay. Visiting places at Rajkot: If time permits, visit - Swamy Narayan Temple: It has been built out of Hand carved stones and the temple is renowned worldover for its social work and humanitarian services. Ishwarya Temple, PanchNathMahdeo temple, Ramakrishna Ashram, AsharamjiBapu Ashram, Rotary Mid Town Dolls Museum.

RAJKOT-DWARAKA-BETDWARAKA

After early breakfast, departure to Dwarka (230 Kms. / 5 Hrs.) Local Visits Shri.Nageshwar Temple. GopiTalab, Bet Dwaraka, Rukmini Temple and Transfer to Hotel. Evening visit Dwarkadhish Temple. Overnight stay at Hotel.

DWARAKA-PORBANDAR-SOMNATH

After breakfast departure to Porbandar (105 Kms. / 2 Hrs) visit Birth place of Mahatma Gandhi (KirtiMandir), Sudama Temple. Later on drive to Somnath (135 Kms. / 3 Hrs.) - Transfer to Hotel for fresh up and then Temple darshan. Evening have a fun in Saurashta Beach. Overnight stay at Hotel.

    Bhuj

    Bhuj is a beautiful little town in Kutch district, Gujarat. It was founded in the year 1510 by a local ruler, called Maharao Hamir. The place was laid siege and take control of by Rao Khengarji I, another ruler who made the town the capital of his kingdom in the year 1549. Some of the parts of the old Bhuj were ruined during the course of the time. The place assumed the role of a self-governing state during the British reign in India.Bhuj, the former capital of Kutch, is now the headquarters of the district. The town actually had a rich and vibrant history. Since it was a walled city, at its prime in history, there were 35 feet high walls and towers that surrounded the city with 51 guns to boot. There was a hill for that was strategically located in such a manner, that the soldier would be able to espy on enemies and alert their defenses. Bhuj has got its name from the fortress called Bhuia that overlooks the city from this nearby hill.Bhuj has over a period of time witnessed so many events and calamities that have left a huge impact on Indian civilization. Alexander the Great's invasion has significance with Bhuj; the town finds its mention even in the story of the exile of the Pandavas in the Mahabharata.

Ahmedabad became capital of Gujarat, and a new capital city was to be built on land which was once part of Pethapur state.The New Capital city was planned by Chief Architect, H.K.
