Dharamshala is a city in the upper reaches of the Kangra Valley, surrounded by dense coniferous forest, mainly of stately Deodars. The suburbs of the town include McLeodGanj, Bhagsunath, Dharamkot, Naddi, ForsythGanj, Kotwali Bazaar, Kaccheri Adda, Dari, Ramnagar, Sidhpur and Sidhbari. The village of McLeodGanj lying in the upper reaches is known worldwide for Tenzin Gyatso. In 1959, the 14th Dalai Lama established the Tibetan exile administration in the north Indian hill station of Mussoorie and in May 1960, the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) was moved to Dharamshala. Vaishno Devi Mandir, a holy temples dedicated to Shakti is located in the hills of Vaishno Devi, Jammu and Kashmir. In Hinduism, Vaishno Devi, also known as Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Mother Goddess. The temple is near the town of Katra, and is one of the most revered places of worship in India. Approximately 8 million pilgrims visit the Vaishno Devi every year. It is the second most visited religious shrine in India, after Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. The Sri Vaishno Devi Shrine Board maintains the shrine and a rail link from Udhampur to Katra is being built to facilitate pilgrimage. The nearest airport is Jammu Airport where all leading domestic airlines have their services.

Amritsar is the spiritual center for the Sikh religion in the state of Punjab. It is home to the Harmandir Sahib, also referred to as the "Golden Temple" as the spiritual and cultural center for the Sikh religion. This important Sikh shrine attracts more visitors than the Taj Mahal on week days alone. The city also houses the Sikh temporal and political authority, Akal Takht. Amritsar is situated 217 kilometres northwest of state capital Chandigarh and is very close to India's western border with Pakistan. The main commercial activities include tourism, carpets and fabrics, farm produce, handicrafts, and light engineering. The city is known for its rich cuisine and culture and also for the tragic incident of Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919.

Kullu is the capital town of the Kullu District in Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley north of the airport at Bhuntar. Kullu is a broad open valley formed by the Beas River between town of Manali and Largi. Kullu valley is sandwiched between Lower and Great Himalayan range. Kullu valley is famous for its beauty and its majestic hills covered with Pine and Deodar Forest and sprawling Apple Orchards. The course of the Beas River presents, a succession of glorious, clad with forests of Deodar, towering above trees of Pine on the lower rocky ridges.

Rohtang Pass, pile of corpses, due to people dying in bad weather trying to cross the pass is a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km (32 mi) from Manali. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh. The pass provides a natural divide between the Kullu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture and the Lahaul - Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture that exist in the north. The pass lies on the watershed between the Chenab and Beas basins and on the southern side of this pass, the Beas River emerges from underground and flows southward. The Chandra River, a source stream of the river Chenab, flows westward.

Wagah is the only road border crossing between Pakistan and India, and lies on the road between the cities of Amritsar, India and Lahore, Pakistan. Wagah itself is a village, which was divided during independence of India in 1947. Today, the eastern half of the village remains in the India while the western half is in Pakistan. It is particularly famous for the Wagah border ceremony that happens at the border gate before sunset each day.

Jawalamukhi is a town and a nagar parishad in Kangra district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Jwalamukhi is a famous temple to the goddess Jwalamukhi, the deity of flaming mouth. The building is modern with a gilt dome and pinnacles, and possesses a beautiful folding door of silver plates. Under the gaze of the Dhauladhar range and set amidst the undulating hills that character sub-Himalayan Himachal Sati's tongue is believed to have fallen at Jwalamukhi and the goddess is manifest as tiny flames that burn a flawless blue through fissures in the age old rock.

Chamunda

Chamunda

Chamunda, also known as Chamundi, Chamundeshwari and Charchika, is a fearsome aspect of Devi, the Hindu Divine Mother and one of the seven Matrikas (mother goddesses). She is also one of the chief Yoginis, a group of sixty-four or eighty-one Tantric goddesses, who are attendants of the warrior goddess Durga. The name is a combination of Chanda and Munda, two monsters whom Chamunda killed. She is closely associated with Kali, another fierce aspect of Devi. She is sometimes identified with goddesses Parvati, Chandi or Durga as well. The goddess is often portrayed as haunting cremation grounds or fig trees. The goddess is worshipped by ritual animal sacrifices along with offerings of wine and in the ancient times, human sacrifices were offered too. Originally a tribal goddess, Chamunda was assimilated in Hinduism and later entered the Jain pantheon too. Though in Jainism, the rites of her worship include vegetarian offerings, and not the meat and liquor offerings.

Ltd nor its associates, take any responsibility for providing Helicopter Tickets and in such a situation, we would be refunding an amount of Rs. 5200/- towards the cost of the Helicopter Charges.
In case of non-availability, pilgrims have an option of visiting the Shrine by walk/ pony/ doli at their cost for which our local representative will assist them. It is also clarified that in such circumstances, you will cooperate with the management and shall not raise any demands and or not file any complaint to the Consumer Court or any other courts for any compensation or damages.
