Welcome to your Southern Travels Best of Cambodia tour. On arrival you will be met by your Southern Travel tour Manager who will welcome you and take you to your hotel. Later in the afternoon take a short tour covering major sights of this beautiful city. You will see the Wat Phnom, Independence Monument and the Royal Palace. Near to royal palace is the Silver Pagoda showcasing Buddha statues made & decorated by Diamond, Emerald, Gold & Silver. You will pass through the River Front Park where 4 rivers meet at a junction. Walk up to the sacred hill of Phnom Daun Penh after which the capital has been named. The tour will end with visit to the Central Market

After breakfast in the morning, make a visit to Tuol Sleng prison, which used to be the most secret part of Khymer Rouge Regime & now a genocide museum. From here, you will go to the lively Russian market for some shopping. In the afternoon, take a shuttle bus to Siem Reap. Check in at Siem reap hotel and relax.

Today morning, post breakfast, get ready to get mesmerized by the magnificence of the ancient temples of Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat. The tour will start with visit to the Angkor Thom - last capital of the Khmers, with its Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King and the stunning Bayon Temple. It is truly an architectural wonder of symmetry & Grandeur. Continue to visit complex’s most beautiful temple Ta Prohm – The Tomb Raider Temple. In the second half of the day continue to visit Angkor Wat – The largest temple complex in the world. The temple initially conceived by king Suryavarman II, took around 30 years for completion. Intricate bas-reliefs surrounds the temple form four sides & depicts different stories. Most famous of these is the one depicting the “Sagar-Manthan”. Later enjoy some free time at the bars & pubs of the Angkor night market

After breakfast today, continue to discover the remaining sights of the magnificent temple complex. Start with visit to the most beautiful temple of the complex Ta Prohm Temple – Also known as the Tomb Raider Temple. It is a wonderful combination of human genius & natural beauty. Srah Srang – The Royal Pool of the king. Chau Thommanon – a small beautiful temple, Say Tevoda – Temple dedicated to Shiva & Vishnu. Takeo – Temple built in pyramid style with 5 levels. Dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon continue to visit the highlights of the Grand Circuit including Preah Khan – The Sacred Sword. Neak Pean – An exquisite example of Khmer art. Ta Som, East Mebon & the last Pre Rup – to view a lovely sunset here. Return back to Siem Reap in evening

After breakfast at the hotel, the tour will take you to the Wat Thmei – The Killing Fields, Les Artisans d’Angkor Chantiers Ecole – Finest collection of Khmer Arts & Crafts. In the afternoon you will visit the floating Villages, take a ride in the traditional wooden boat on the Great Lake – The Tonle Sap. Later you will also visit the Wat Bo – A pagoda with unique wall paintings from Ramayana. Visit the local market here as well. Return back to Siem reap in evening

After breakfast we drive you to the airport for your flight back home. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your holiday
