Pick-up from Nagarsol / Manmad / Kapargaon Railway station – Departure to Shirdi – On arrival Transfer to hotel – Temple Darshan. After Launch Departure to Sani Singanapur and back to Shirdi.
Departure to Nashik (140 kms. / 3 Hrs. ) – visit Triambakeswar Shiva Temple and proceed to Mukthidham, Panchavati, Kalaram Temple, Goraram Temple, Seetha Guha, Chandramulishwara Mandir, Kapaleswar Temple and Godavari Ghat and back to Shirdi.
After break fast departure to Aurangabad – Enroute visit Ellora Caves. Grishnaswar Dualatabad, Mini Tajmahal.
Departure to Ajnatha Local visit and drop at Aurangabad Railway station.
Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines mentioned in the Shiva Purana. Grishneshwar is believed as the Last or 12th (twelfth) Jyotirlinga on the earth. This pilgrimage site is located at a village called Verul which lies at a distance of 11 km from Daulatabad (Devagiri) and 30 km from Aurangabad. It lies at a close proximity to the Ellora caves. The temple stands as an illustration of the pre-historic temple traditions as well as of the pre-historic architectural style and structure. The inscriptions on the temples are a source of much attraction to ardent travellers. The temple, built of red rocks, is composed of a five-tier shikhara. Restored in the 18th century by Ahilyabai Holkar, the temple is 240 x 185 feet tall. It houses beautiful carvings and sculptures of many Indian Gods and Goddesses. Holy water is known to spring from inside the temple.
Shirdi holds a special importance for the devotees of Sai Baba. Located about 296 kilometres from Mumbai, it has the famous ShirdiSai Temple built over the Samadhi of Sai Baba. Regarded with great reverence by both Muslims and the Hindus, this holy shrine attracts thousands of visitors every year.
ShaniSinganapur is a small village in Maharashtra known for the temple of Shani. This shrine has a five and a half feet high black rock installed on an open-air platform that signifies Lord Shani. This village is also famous for the fact that no house in the village has doors and no theft has been reported in the village. It is believed that Lord Shani will punish anyone attempting theft.
Nashik is one of the most revered and holy cities for the Hindus. According to the Ramayana, Lord Ram along with his wife Sita and brother Laxman spent four months of his exile at Tapovan near Nashik. The major tourist destinations in and around Nashik include the theGangapur Dam,Dudhsagar Falls, Museum of Numismatics,AnjaneriParvat, Pandavleni Caves and a Bird Sanctuary "Nandur-Madhyameshwar. Nashik is also known for its wine that is exported to several foreign countries.
Mukhtidham is a popular tourist attraction on the Nashik Road dedicated to various Hindu deities. The temple has been made with marble from Makrana in Rajasthan. The temple also has replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas, which have been built as per dimension of original deities. The 18 chapters of Geeta have been written on the walls of this temple.
Panchvati has a special importance in Hindu mythology. It is believed to be the place where Lord Ram built his home and lived along with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman during the exile period.Panchavati today has a number of temples. SitaGumpha is another important destination in Panchavati. It is believed that Ravana abducted Goddess Sita from this place.
The Ellora caves are a World Heritage site located 29 km North-West of Aurangabad. These caves represent the pinnacle of Indian rock-cut architecture. There are a total of 34 caves extending over more than 2 km - 12 Buddhist, 17 Hindu and 5 Jain caves built between the 5th century and 10th century. Structures dedicated to Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism in the same complex also illustrates the spirit of tolerance in ancient India.
The historically and culturally important town of Aurangabad has been declared as the Tourism Capital of Maharashtra. Named after the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, the city is dotted with a large number of historical monuments. The most famous monument in Aurangabad is the Bibi-ka-Maqbara ,Aurangazeb's wife’s burial chamber resembling the TajMahal. The other tourist attractions include Panchakki (water mill), Aurangabad Caves, Quila-E-Ark, Kali Masjid, Jumma Masjid, Shahganj Masjid, Chowk Masjid and the Salim Ali Lake & Bird Sanctuary
The Ajanta Caves are one of the world's greatest historical monuments recognised by UNESCO. These are 30 rock-cut cave monuments located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra dating back to the 2nd Century BC to 600 BC. These caves have extra-ordinary paintings and sculptures which are considered to be epitome of Buddhist religious art. The most notable thing about these caves is that they have been entirely crafted from hands using just hammers and chisels.
