Day 1
Arrive Chennai

Arrive Chennai Airport / Railway Station. Upon arrival, Our representative will meet you and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon proceed on a sight seeing tour of the city visiting Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George, Government Museum and Marina Beach- second largest beach in the world.

Day 2
Chennai - Tirupati / Tirumala

Morning departure to Tirupati (160 kms. / 3.5 hrs. ) and check into hotel. Later proceed to Tirumala hills ( 22 kms. ) Visit Lord Balaji. Richest God in the world visited by millions of devotees every year.

Tirupati - Kanchipuram - Chennai

After Shri Balaji Darshan proceed to Kanchipuram ( 110 kms. / 2.5 hrs. ) Visit Shiv Kanchi and Vishnu Kanchi temples. Later drive to chennai (70kms./1.5hrs.). Check into Hotel.

Tirupati City itself has several temples, being also famous for its red wooden toys, copper and brass idols. City is a major economical and educational hub in the southern region.

    Tirumala is a hill town in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, a pilgrimage center for Hindus, with its Sri Venkateswara Temple. Tirumala is dedicated to Maha Vishnu, Sri Rengam, Tirumala and other Archavathara Vishnu temples. In the town, there are seven peaks from the Seshachalam range that are part of Eastern Ghats. The seven peaks represent the hood of Adisesha, known as Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrushabadri, Narayanadri and Venkatadri. The temple of Sri Venkateswara is itself on the seventh peak. "Tirumala" is the amalgamation of two words: Tiru, which means sacred or honorable and Mala, which means hill or peak in the Dravidian languages.

Kanchipuram is considered one of the seven holiest cities to the Hindus of India and in Hinduism, a k?etra is a sacred ground, a field of active power, a place where moksha, final release can be obtained. Among the major Hindu temples, some are the most prominent Vishnu Temples and Shiva Temples of Tamil Nadu like the Varadharaja Perumal Temple for Vishnu. The city is also famous for its hand woven silk sarees.

    Mahabalipuram, derived from 'Mamallapuram' is the prior and colloquial name of a town in Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu. With an average elevation of 12 metres, is now officially called Mamallapuram. Mahabalipuram was a 7th century port city of the South Indian dynasty of the Pallavas around 60 km south from the city of Chennai. The name Mamallapuram is named after the Pallava king Narasimhavarman I, who took on the epithet Maha-malla (great wrestler), as the favourite sport of the Pallavas was wrestling. It has various historic monuments built largely between the 7th and the 9th centuries. It has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
