1Pick-up from Vijayawada - Transfer to Hotel. - Places of visits: Amaravathi is a ancient Buddhist sculpture. A c h a r y a N a g a r j u n a constructed the country’s largest stupa here, 2000 years back. It also has an Amareswara temple, one of the PANCHA RAMAS. Later visit to Mangalagiri - A renowned temple of Lord Narasimha situated on a hillock in Mangalagiri. The unique feature of this temple is that the mouth of the idol accepts half the quantity of Panakam (jaggery dissolved in water) offered by devotees, Sri Kanaka Durga Temple - One of the most popular temple in Vijayawada. It is located on a hill Indrakeeladri overlooking the city as well as the River Krishna. Overnight Stay.
2After breakfast Departure to Rajahmundry (230 kms. / 9 hrs). Enroute visits Ksheeraramam one of the PANCHA RAMAS at Palakollu which is located near Narsapuram, Penugonda Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari Temple and Ryali Sri Janganmohini Keshava Swamy Temple. Departure to Rajahmundry.Overnight Stay.
3After breakfast Visit to Kotipalli (60 kms. / 1.5 hrs.) S o m e s w a r a m (Kumararama one of the PANCHA RAMAS is an impor tant pi lgr image center in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Draksharama (15 kms.) - The Bhimeswara Temple one of the PANCHA RAMAS, Bheemaramam one of the PANCHA RAMAS (40 kms. / 1 hr.) Located at Samalkota near Kakinada, Pithapuram (15 kms.) Dattareya swamy temple, later visit to Annavaram (30 kms.) famous Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy Temple and back to Rajahmundry (90 kms. / 2 hrs.).Overnight Stay.
4Early morning Departure to Pattuseema (35 kms. / 1 hr) by road Check-into boat and have breakfast - Enjoy boat ride in River Godavari visit Papi Hills which are three in number and situated in the middle of river Godavari separating districts EAST, WEST and KHAMMAM. Manglagiri
Manglagiri: Manglagiri, meaning the Holy Hill, is part of the Vijayawada urban agglomeration. This picturesque hill has great cultural and religious importance. It is one of the eight important MahakshetramsOf India – the places where Lord Vishnu manifested himself. The Sri Panakala Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple is situated on this hill. The footprints of ChaitanyaMahaprabhu can also be seen on the steps to the temple.
Amaravathi
Amaravathi: Amaravathi is situated on the banks of the rive Krishna. This ancient city is one of the most important Buddhist sites in the country. India’s largest Stupa was built here during the reign of emperor Ashoka. An archaeological museum in Amaravathi houses some of the sculptures and coins that were used during the historic days. Amaravathi is also famous for its Amareswara temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Rajahmundry
