North goa

North Goa district is one of the two districts that constitutes the state of Goa, India. The district has an area of 1,736 square kilometres (670 square miles), and is bounded by Kolhapur and Sindhudurg districts of Maharashtra state to the north and by Belgavi district of Karnataka to the east, by South Goa district to the south, and by the Arabian Sea to the west.

South Goa

South Goa

South Goa is the more serene half of the state, and for many travelers that’s the attraction. There are fewer activities and not as many bars, clubs or restaurants, but overall the beaches of the south are cleaner and not as crowded as those in the north.

Hyderabad

Hyderabad

Archaeologists have found Iron Age sites in Hyderabad that are 2,500 years old. These sites have been found near Haythnagar and Ramoji Film City, and have burials and tools. In 1143, Kakatiyas ruled Hyderabad from Golconda Fort. Later on, the city fell under Brahmani Sultanate. After the fall of the sultanate, the Qutub Shahi kings ruled Hyderabad. There were seven of them, whose burials are very near to the Golconda Fort. Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah was a Qutub Shahi ruler who ordered the construction of the Charminar.
