If clients want to extend their stay in Pokhara or Jomsom, will cost extra INR 675.00 per person per night on twin sharing basis with breakfast. Single supplement charge is INR 325.00 per night.
If clients have to stay in Pokhara or in Jomsom for more number of nights than mentioned in the program due flight cancellation, landslides, strike or whatsoever reason, extra cost of accommodation will be borne by the clients @ INR 675.00 per person per night on twin sharing with breakfast and single supplement charge INR 325.00 per night. Similarly, extra cost of transportation (if taken other than mentioned in the program), difference of the cost will be borne by the clients.
There will be 10% cancellation charge for canceling the tour at least 3 days before the commencement of the tour, 25% for within 48 hours and 50% before 24 hours. Thereafter 100% cancellation charge will be levied.

» Taj Mahal Agra :
Agra City is one of the five biggest towns in Uttar Pradesh is famous all over the World for its celebrated monument -Taj Mahal, is one of the seven wonders of the world. It was built by Emperor Shahjahan in 1653 in memory of his beloved wife Queen Mumtaj. It took 22 years to complete this beautiful mausoleum. Taj Mahal, situated on the banks of River Yamuna, stands on a white marble platform of 2 feet with a height of 243 feet.

Red Fort, Agra» Red Fort Agra :
Standing parallel on the right banks of the river Yamuna: the massive walls are of solid sand stone rampar is 17 feet height and one and half miles in circular. It was constructed by Moghul Emperor Akbar In 1565. The Fort consists of Jahanglr Mahal, Shahjahan Mahal and Moti Masjid.

» Akbar Tomb Sikandra :
This mausoleum at Sikindra, near Agra was built by Akbar's son, and the Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1613, in memory of his father. The Gate of this historical monument is impressive. The minarates and the vast garden where the tomb is laid are Imposing monuments of the Mughal period.
» Lord Krishna's temple at Mathura :
located on the west bank of river yamuna is associated with the most enduring god of the hindu religion. Surroundings are popularly known as brij bhoomi. Lord Krishna was born at a jail in mathura and believed to have grown up in this area. The place where he was bom was converted into a temple. It is one of the most important pilgrim centres for hindus since thousands of years. King kanishka, made it as the capital of his eastern empire. The emperors from the dynasties of sakas, kushans and chandra gupta maurya contributed to the prosperity of mathura and in modem india, the region has become an important centre of art and culture. Thousands of pilgrims visit the city every day.

» Jaipur :
The capital of Rajasthan, is the second most beautiful city in the world, founded in 1727 A.D. by maharaja sawai jai singh ii. Is also one of the colourful cities of India. The city is encircled by aravali mountain ranges in thar desert. In 1863, Jaipur dressed itself in pink to welcome prince albert, consort of queen victoria of England, and earned the name 'pink city

» Albert hall :

The Royal Background of the Palace on Wheels
On rolling back wheels of time, we find the rulers of princely states of Rajputana, Gujarat, the Nizam of Hyderabad and the Viceroy of British India travelled by these luxurious coaches. After independence, these coaches were parked and remained in this state for a quarter of a century until in 1981-82, when the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and Indian Railways launched a special heritage tourist train for providing a unique memorable experience to the tourists visiting Rajasthan.

The name Palace on Wheels was derived from it's royal background of the coaches. Gradually State govt. and railway department brought many infrastructural changes in the coaches while keeping the same aesthetics of the interiors alive, matching the interiors of the royal state. The train was replaced by the air-conditioned broad gauges new train, which had 14 saloons, 2 restaurant cum kitchen cars, one Bar cum Lounge and 4 service Cars. The cabins of each saloon are attached with bath and shower. The train also has a well-appointed lounge, library and bar.

Apart from this, the other services on request include laundry services, and Doctor on call at each station, barber shop & beauty parlour. The lounge also has a souvenirs shop 'The Bazaar' where souvenirs and gift items are sold bearing the insignia of the POW.


The names of the saloons given are based on the princely states of Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Alwar, Bundi, Kota, Jhalawar, Dungarpur, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Jaisalmer, Sirohi, Bikaner, Udaipur and Kishangarh.
