Visiting Beijing and Shanghai
DAY 1: ARRIVE BEIJING
Welcome to China! Arrive into Beijing, the exciting capital of Celestial Empire.
You will be met by English speaking guide who will assist you and transferred to
your hotel by private vehicle. In the evening take an optional tour to experience
the famous Kung Fu Show. This is a world famous form of Chinese Martial Arts. The
Shaolin monks from Kung fu will amaze you with their performances.Overnight in Beijing.
DAY 2: BEIJING (B, L)
Your exploration of Beijing begins with a full day Beijing sightseeing tour visiting
Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Enjoy Chinese lunch on
tour. Later visit the Forbidden City, the former home to the Emperors of China.
Visit the 15th century Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace built as a retreat for
the Machiavellian Dowager Empress. In the evening enjoy an optional tour of Peking
Opera. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 3 BEIJING (B,L)
Today enjoy the thrill of walking on the Great Wall of China, a formidable structure
that winds its way over hills for more than 2,000 miles. Enjoy Chinese lunch on
tour. Later you visit the Ming Tombs and the avenue of Animals. Overnight in Beijing.
DAY 4: BEIJING –SHANGHAI (B)
Today transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Get to know this city
that has retained the flavor of its European past. Arrive Shanghai Pudong Airport.
Travel on the magnetic train from Shanghai Pudong airport to Longyan Subway station.
The speeds can reach up to 400 km per hour and it takes only 7 minutes to finish
the 30 kms journey! Check in at the hotel in the evening, enjoy optional Yuangpu
River Cruise, Cruise on the famous bund where you see beautiful European style architectures
on one side and famous modern buildings including the tallest Jianmao Tower and
famous Oriental TV Tower on the other. Overnight in Shanghai.
DAY 5: SHANGHAI (B,L)
Today enjoy city tour of Shanghai visiting Jade Buddha Temple, the beautiful Yu
Yuan gardens, built during the Ming dynasty. Enjoy lunch on tour. Later enjoy a
bird’s eye view of Shanghai from Oriental TV Tower and visit the famous Bund area.
In the evening enjoy optional tour of the famous Acrobatic Show. You will be amazed
to see stunts Performed by the flexible Chinese acrobats. Overnight in Shanghai.
DAY 6 : DEPART SHANGHAI (B)
Check out of the hotel this morning as you are transferred to Shanghai airport for
your flight back home with fond memories of your holiday.
