Indore - Omkareshwar - Maheshwar - Indore

After breakfast proceed to Omkareshwar (90 Kms. / 2 Hrs.) to visit Omkareshwar + Mahakaleshwar Temple (one of the Twelve Jyothirlingas, is the most famous and vanerated Shiva Temple). Later drive to Mahakaleshwar Temple (70 Kms. / 2hrs) visit famous Raja Rajeshwari Temple and Ahalya Fort near Narmada River and later proceed to Indore (80 Kms. / 2 hrs).

Indore - Ujjain

After breakfast check out from the hotel, proceed to Annapurna Temple and khajarana Ganesh Temple at Indore.Later proceed to Ujjain (60Kms / 2Hrs) Situated on the banks of the sacred river Shipra.     Maheshwar is located 13 km east of National Highway 3 and 91 km from Indore, the commercial capital of the Madhya Pradesh. The town lies on the north bank of the Narmada River and was the capital of the 'Holkar' clan of the Maratha Confederacy till they acceded to the Union of India. The name Maheshwar comes from Mahesh, Lord Shiva, which means in Hindi abode of Lord Mahesh.     Indore traces its roots to its 16th century founding as a trading hub between the Deccan and Delhi.     Omkareshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva, is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is on an island called Mandhata in the Narmada River. The shape of the island is said to be like the Hindu symbol. There are two temples here, one to Omkareshwar and one to Amareshwar whose name means "Immortal lord" or "lord of the Immortals or Devas". As per Shiv Mahapuran, once Brahma and Vishnu had an argument in terms of supremacy. To examine them, Shiva pierced the three worlds as a huge endless pillar of light, the jyotirlinga.
